God hates Freemasonry…

God hates Freemasonry, but loves Freemasons!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Hallo Kevin and welcome,

Thank you for your response. Having been a mason myself I dare venture to say that masons themselves do not really attempt to hide anything.

To the majority of those men masonry is an honourable and worthwhile undertaking and most take great pride in their membership, fully convinced that they represent the upper echelon of society as far as their perceived status of being piously aloof of normal society, standing on some rare moral high-ground that can only to be garnished from the secret esoteric knowledge of masonry.

Freemasonry welcomes men from all walks of life and all religions into its bosom. That is all good and well and sounds excellent – a brotherhood of man and lets all work and live together in peace and harmony.

One problem!!!

What does God say about it?
He is very clear about it. He states emphatically in His Word, the Bible, that  He is the ONLY God, there is NO other. The practice of Freemasonry where ALL religions and ALL their gods are acknowledged and accommodated in lodge stands in DIRECT OPPOSITION to God’s expressed will and decree.

Now, one can not serve two masters. If one is a God fearing person, like most born-again Christians ought to be, this conflict should pose a big problem to those desirous of being masons as well. The dilemma is that one can not possibly be a child of God and continue to be a mason, for doing so is to wilfully go against God’s will and that is SIN. No child of God wilfully sins against Him.

So, there is a choice to be made.

For me it was no contest. It was difficult to say farewell to all the old friends, but there was just no other way. Our God abhors compromise. He gave us free will to decide for ourselves. We are either with Him or against Him, and He will respect our choice. I chose my Lord and will honour His will, not those of men.

You say you are not a Christian! Well, not having Christ represents a far bigger problem than the question of what Freemasons are hiding or not!

You see, God created this world perfect. Adam and Eve were created perfect. They wilfully transgressed God’s one command to them and thereby plunged the whole creation into a dilemma. They sold out to the Devil by heeding him instead of God, their creator. The dominion He gave them they lost also – to the Devil.

Yet God, in His divine wisdom and foreknowledge, knew this would happen, and He had already planned our salvation, even before He laid the foundations of the universe.

After the fall of Adam and Eve and right up until now, no man is capable of devising his own salvation from the pit our ancestors put us in. Only God could provide a means of redemption and He did this 2000 years ago when He sent his son Jesus Christ to redeem mankind and thus provide a way out back to God. That way IS Jesus himself. One stands at the crossroads of a decision again. Just like Adam and Eve, we also have a choice. They made theirs and as a result we are in this terrible mess we find ourselves in. The choice we have is;

Do I accept Jesus and the work He did as my salvation and with it eternal life as depicted and described in the Bible,

Do I not accept Jesus and His work of redemption on the cross and with it the second death, your portion in the eternal lake of fire?

If one makes no decision, by default then you chose not to accept, the latter option.

Now, I know there are many who profess not to believe the Word of God, not to heed the Bible at all. Well, you see, God knew that would happen also, so He put his words in the hearts of men. We all have His will deeply endowed in us. In our deepest being we know this to be so. It is only by the degree of wilful self-deception and by heeding the voice of darkness that some attempt to rationalise this fact away.

And try as they might, what God has written no-one can delete. One day we will all stand before the Lord and nobody will have any excuse.

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in His sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
But God shows His anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
They know the truth about God because He has made it obvious to them.
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship Him as God or even give Him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.
Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools.
Romans 1:16-22

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: Heb. 8:10

Life is a choice,
Please chose LIFE !!!

God bless,

I believe in Jesus Christ his only son our Lord. What another man in my Masonic Lodge believes is between him and God. I will witness the good news of Jesus Christ to anyone. But, excluding myself from an organization because it allows men who don’t share my faith to be members is ridiculous. Where do you buy your food, clothes, etc? Where do you work. Should we only shop at stores that hire professed Christians? Should we all quit our Jobs because our employer allows non-Christians to work there? Your philosophy has huge holes in it.
