Freemason’s Temple East vs West

Have you noticed that the masonic temple is facing the wrong way!

One enters a “masonic temple” from the west – the most senior brethren then place themselves in the EAST facing WEST!

That is the exact opposite to the Temple of Solomon, on which the masonic temple is based.

THAT temple faces EAST as the diagram below clearly shows.
